Commissioned artwork for a client requesting a composition that conveys a synchronised flight of Blue Morpho butterflies. The artwork captures a thrust of directional energy visually aided by a depth of butterflies of up to 80mm.
Some 900 Blue Morpho butterflies seemingly flying in and out of each other’s path in a twisting and turning motion – not their natural behaviour I may add. The frame is matt black with a matt black background.
The frame is wood finished in F&B ‘Off Black’ with a matt finish with a returned edge of 80mm.
