A composition that replicates a gathering of butterflies before a mass migration. The artwork incorporates intense concentrations of butterflies balanced with more passive wandering outliers. Small disc like jewels have been added to this composition to amplify the busyness and movement a cluster of migrating butterflies makes, popping and sparkling with the light.

Produced in a mix of over 850 handcrafted butterflies – Monarchs, Bath Whites, gold metallic Monarchs, bespoke Lacewings in red and pink. The wing patterns have been embellished to reveal ghostly faces and skulls, referencing the fleeting lifespan between birth and death.
